Linq and Mirosoft.Net

by Tommy T 1. September 2008 03:52

Well the summer is to an end and its time to get back to work :-),

During this autumn its time to learn the "old" technologies like Linq and WCF and others. I spent most part of my summer learning WCF and think its
time to learn Linq.

While starting to look for information I found two useful tools.

LinqPad

A very simple client for talking and creatin Linq Queries directly agaisbt databases. :-D Yihaa I love the open source community.

Visual Linq Query Builder

This is an addin to Visual Studio 2008, wher you design and write Linq Queries directly from within The Visual Studio 2008 IDE

So time to learn.

Have a nice day !

There is two versions to download.

First we have the Exe version here. and then we have the ISO disk image version her in case you want to burn it to a CD.
If you are using Visual Studio 2008 Express there is an SP1 download for you aswell its here.

And finally if you have installed any beta versions of the service pack you have to install Visual Studio 2008 Preparation Tool first.

If you want to know whats new in the 3.5 framework before installing the servicpack you can browse the readme first, it is here.
